Objective: SWBAT identify a character's feelings by analyzing their reactions to situations in the story.

Big Idea: Students have been examining character traits based on how the character behaves. Third graders tend to respond that the character was either happy or sad when asked how they think they feel even if there is no evidence to support their claim.
