Investigating Points, Segments, Rays, and Lines

Unit 2: Geometry Foundations
Lesson 5 of 14

Objective: SWBAT use basic tools and menus on Geometer's Sketchpad; SWBAT measure distances between points and lengths of segments; SWBAT construct the midpoint of a segment.

Big Idea: Student Drivers Behind the Wheel. In this lesson we turn over the controls to allow students to do some dynamic exploration of points, segments, rays, and lines using Geometer's Sketchpad.
