The new format of the class divided into levels by the results of the test.

 Were students able to analyze area of strength and weakness based on their test results?

 

Were the students able to complete 1 of 3 analysis tasks on their  newpiece of music (pitch labelling, beat matrix, or fingering)


Were the students able to remember how to identify all the objects they talked about.

 

 

Activity

(Describe the independent activity to reinforce this lesson)

 

 

 

Teacher will conference with individual students about their test before their vacation to determine their area of strength and weakness. Students will be grouped into beginning, medium, and advanced and be given a new piece of music based on their level and be asked to analyze either pitch, rhythm, or fingering of that music.

 

Summary

 

 HW- Practice their new recorder piece, with emphasis on area of weakness.
