Description: Kiva U (KivaU.org) is an innovative education initiative created through a partnership between Kiva and Citi, in response to a powerful grassroots movement of students and educators passionate about understanding microfinance and wielding it to help end poverty. Students and educators can create and join teams in the Kiva U online community (all teams that fall under the Schools, Colleges/Universities, and Youth categories are within the Kiva U program), connect and share with other like-minded individuals, and access tools and resources to become experts and mobilize themselves and others about poverty, microfinance, financial inclusion, financial literacy concepts, and leadership skills.
